Our Story

Family owned and operated business

Bernie and Tiffany Flaherty started Paw's Puppy Palace in 2017. They had 3 dogs of their own and they wanted to share their passion for caring for their furry family members with everyone.

Since our start as a daycare facility, we have also expanded to boarding, grooming and training.

With certified groomers, cage free boarding, AKC registered trainers and the best grooming and daycare rates in town, Paw's Puppy Palace is here to give your dog the royal treatment all around!

Our mission is to provide a safe, playful and extravagant environment for your dog to socialize, play, relax, get groomed and learn from the best! Our staff of dog lovers want to make sure your dog goes home happy, tired and beautiful from a long day of fun and pampering.

Owner / Groomer

Tiffany is one of our owners along with her Dad, Bernie. She was born and raised in the CNY area and graduated from Baldwinsville High School in 2013. After working as a manger and receptionist for the health care and spa industries she decided she wanted to be her own boss. Combining her knowledge of the health and safety aspects of the health care industry, the pampering and relaxation of the spa setting, and her passion for dogs, the idea for Paw's Puppy Palace was born. Since starting the business she has also become certified as a pet groomer and has been grooming now for 4 years!

Bernie is one of our owners along with his daughter, Tiffany. He was born in North Adams, Massachusetts and moved to the Syracuse area in the late 1980s. He married his wife, Sandy in 1990 and they started their family soon after. They have two children, Logan and Tiffany, and 3 dogs, Debo, Kodiak and Lennox.

After working as a Senior Manager of Engineering  for Time Warner Cable for many years, Bernie jumped at the opportunity to work along side his daughter starting their owner business together. He is a Jack of all trades here for us at The Palace. He will often be the friendly face that greets you at the door or answers the phone when you call. He is also our resident handy man and keeps track of all the behinds the scenes business items for us as well.
