

Here at Paw's Puppy Palace we not only want your dogs to have fun, but we want you to be able to have fun with your dogs too! Our trainers are certified with multiple organization including Animal Behavior College and The American Kennel Club. They are also skilled in many styles of training, including Canine Good Citizen evaluation, Trick Dog, Agility and e-collar training. With a combined total of 6 dogs of their own and over 20 years of experience training dogs, they would love to share their extensive knowledge with you and your dog(s)!

Boarding School Courses
In our Boarding School Courses your dog will get a completely immersive training experience. During their stay, they will receive between 4-6 training sessions a day from our experienced trainers. Additionally, they will work on things like door manners, walking on a loose leash, proper greetings of people and other dogs and potty training with every interaction they have with our staff. They say the best way to learn a new language is to immerse yourself in it and that is exactly our aim for your pup in our Boarding School Courses.
What you can expect for your dog during Boarding School:
-A minimum of 4 training sessions per day per dog
-A minimum of 1 video or text update per day per dog
-Training done between the hours of 6:30am-9:00pm
- 60-90 min. pick-up lessons held at 4:30pm on pick-up days (Friday)
Basic Obedience- 5 Day
$750 + training equipment (additional dogs $600)
- 4 night stay. Pick-up/pick-up lesson on 5th day (Friday at 4:30pm)
- Covers all basic obedience skills laid out in the Canine Good Citizen Test
( ie."Sit", "Down", "Stay", Controlled Recall, "Place", Loose-Leash walking, Proper greetings of dogs and people)
- Does NOT directly cover nuisance behaviors
( ie. excessive barking, chewing/destructive behaviors, play biting, separation anxiety, or aggression)
- Course includes (1) 60-90 minute individual lesson (at pick-up on Friday 4:30pm) and (1) free CGC test
Intermediate Obedience- 10 Day
$1,500 + training equipment (additional dogs $1,200)
- 8 night stay. (2) Monday- Friday stays (pick up/ pick up lessons on each Friday at 4:30pm)
- Covers all basic obedience outlined in the "Basic Obedience" course plus some nuisance behaviors
- Basics-"Sit", "Down", "Stay", Controlled Recall, "Place", Loose-Leash walking, Proper greetings
-Nuisance Behaviors- excessive barking, chewing/destructive behaviors, play biting, separation anxiety
- Course includes (2) 60-90 minute individual lessons (at pick-ups on Fridays 4:30pm) and (1) free CGC test
Group Classes
(Temporarily on hold)
All group classes will be held at our facility at 2052 Lamson Rd, Phoenix, NY 13135. Classes will be held outside unless there is inclement weather on the scheduled group class day. So, please dress appropriately. All dogs at group class must be on a non-retractable leash at all times (even if they have been trained to be off-leash through our Advanced Obedience courses). There will be 1 trainer for 10-20 dogs at group class. So, please be aware that each owner is responsible for themselves and their own dog’s actions. Please be responsible and respectful of others’ space.

Follow Up Group

Offered once a month on a Saturday from 9:30-10:30 am

Only offered to individuals who have completed a full Intermediate or Advanced training course with us.

These classes are designed to refresh/ up-keep on skills learned in individual training courses and to increase your dog’s ability to perform tasks around the distractions of other dogs and people. They ARE NOT for teaching new skills or dog to dog socialization in the sense that there will be no “free play” time during Follow Up Croup Class sessions.

S.T.A.R. Puppy ($150)

The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is a program designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start. This class teaches you how to best communicate with your puppy and provides an opportunity for your dog to socialize with other dogs. You’ll be able to get information on all of your puppy-raising questions including housetraining, chewing, and the most effective way to teach practical skills such as coming when called

CGC Testing (1st attempt always free, $50 per add. test)

The American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen test (CGC) is a certification program that evaluates dogs in simulated everyday situations in a relaxed, noncompetitive atmosphere. Dogs that pass the CGC test are considered reliable family and community members and will receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club.
The CGC test evaluates dogs on the following:

Training
Advanced Obedience- 15 Days
$2,250 + training equipment (additional dogs $2000)
- 12 night stay (3) Monday-Friday stays ( pick-ups/ pick-up lessons on Fridays at 4:30pm)
- Covers all basic obedience outlined in the "Basic Obedience" course plus nuisance behaviors covered in the "Intermediate Obedience" course, as well as some off leash behaviors
- Basics-"Sit", "Down", "Stay", Controlled Recall, "Place", Loose-Leash walking, Proper greetings
-Nuisance Behaviors- excessive barking, chewing/destructive behaviors, play biting, separation anxiety
- Off Leash Behaviors- walking, recall, obedience at a distance
